THE ACADEMY

AVT Academy offes a a comprehensive & exciting curriculum including computer design lab, hands-on working on electric cars, field trips and workshops sponsored by industry partners. Our curriculum empowers students to learn Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) focusing on Advanced Vehicle Technology as an academic application and a career pathway. We will teach them not only about electric cars, but about design and building an electric car. This will help them learn STEM subjects in the most exciting, relevant and applicable to daily living.

THE CURRICULUM

A robust series of AVTA courses that are designed around national Science, Technology, Engineering (ABET) and Math Standards. Advanced courses include:

• Material sciences
• Electronics Engineering
• Computer Aided Design
• 3D Fabrication Workshops
• Hybrid & Electric Vehicle Technology
• Biofuels
• Hydrogen Fuel Cell Technologies.

THE FUNDING

Qualified Zone Academy Bonds or QZAB allows qualifying schools and/or communities to borrow at NO INTEREST.

QZAB

QZAB can be used to carry out much-needed school renovations and repairs as well as other improvements (any use except new construction). The federal provides interest payment in terms of tax credit, in lieu of cash, provided to financial institutions that hold the bonds. For mor einformation, please visit QZAB.
