STEM Crisis in US K-12 Education

“STEM education in the United States is woefully inadequate for the future of our nation. It is insufficient to produce a robust field of opportunity for our children."

The SOLUTION:
Almost all dropout students reached the decision to quit because they found the class uninteresting, irrelevant and they also failed the the key subjects: science and mathematics. If we could inspire the students and make learning a fun thing and enjoyable and help they do well in the class, we would prevent dropout.
What students love to learn:
From early age, kids loves a toy car that creates exciting and fastinates them to learn and explore things around them.

Advanced Vehicle Technology Academy is a solution to help America becomes a Grad Nation.
AVT Academy will inspire students K -12 to tap on their potential to succeed in school.
AVT Academy’s method is
• to INSPIRE
• to CREATE a thirst for knowledge
• to EMPOWER students to learn to solve practical problems
• to IMPART them with fundamental concepts and practical applications
• to EQUIP students with tools to learn-by-doing

Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics apply to almost every career field from electric car mechanics to biotechnologist. By using an interdisciplinary approach the Advanced Vehicle Technology Academy is offering students an opportunity to learn STEM as a way of life in application to electric car and other advanced technologies that would interact on a regular basis. Building electric car, biofuels vehicle and solar car are just some of the examples of real world activities we are doing to help make science and engineering more relevant in our students’ lives.
AVTA offes a a comprehensive & exciting curriculum including computer design lab, hands-on working on electric cars, field trips and workshops sponsored by industry partners. Our curriculum empowers students to learn Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) focusing on Advanced Vehicle Technology as an academic application and a career pathway. We will teach them not only about electric cars, but about design and building an electric car. This will help them learn STEM subjects in the most exciting, relevant and applicable to daily living.
